Formerly known as Chromat UK Ltd, Macie Industries Ltd. is a manufacture of polyester based decorative granules. Our Chromat™ granules are used in a variety of applications including the casting of polyester and acrylic solid surface products, epoxy flooring and many others.

Established in 1997, Macie Industries, was the first independent manufacturer of 'coloured chips' in Europe. Since then we have maintained our initial strategy of producing high quality Chromat™ 'coloured chips' as consistently and efficiently as possible. This quality and reliability quickly established our company as a dependable, trustworthy supplier and created a firm foundation on which we have continued to build.

Our manufacturing efficiency enables Macie Industries to offer more affordable prices and the shortest lead-times possible to our customers. With sales of over 4000 tonnes to date, Macie Industries is now considered Europe's largest independent, dedicated manufacturer of coloured chips, supplying a wide range of solid surface and epoxy flooring producers, both large and small, worldwide.

Macie Industries have established a practical range of over 40 plain colours, each available in 11 different particle sizes, which means we can create an unlimited number of custom designs and match to any colour and particle blend that is required. We also offer a range of standard blends, based on solid surfacing trends and designed to provide a ready-made solution for the solid surfacing markets.

To enhance the overall range, Macie Industries have created a number of additional special effects such as Translucent Chips, Chips in Chips and Ribbed Chips that give its customers the ability to set themselves apart from the competition. The whole Chromat™ product offer gives European manufacturers the opportunity to construct their own unique colour ranges at the forefront of solid surface design, providing a breath of fresh air for the designers, allowing them to innovate and capitalise on the developments of supplier and manufacturer alike.
